Art for Youth London exhibits artworks from over 100 artists nationally

Exhibiting at Art for Youth

Register now if you are interested in exhibiting at this year’s exhibition.

Art for Youth is open to all artists, and takes great pleasure in welcoming and supporting new and emerging talent.

All registered artists (including those that have previously registered an interest in exhibiting) will be contacted in June, inviting them to submit digital images of works to be reviewed by the Selection Committee in early July. These do not have to be the actual works, but Art for Youth do reserve the right to reject works that arrive for the exhibition which are very different in size or style to the ones originally proposed.

We welcome works in all media, although applicants should be aware that our ability to select very large pieces will be limited by how many works we can fit in the exhibition space.

The exhibition will take place at the Mall Galleries (London) on 5-8 November 2024.

Suchi Chidambaram

Suchi Chidambaram is a painter, born and raised in India, now living and working in London. Mainly self-taught, her work focuses on narrating her experience of a place and its people through rapid palette knife marks using oil paints. Her interpretations are not painted in situ but from memory, allowing fragments of visual data to mingle with her subjective and emotional response. Suchi held her first solo exhibition at the Nehru Centre in 2006 and has since exhibited internationally.

Annabel Fairfax

Annabel Fairfax, a native of Suffolk, has been immersed in the world of art from a young age. Her artistic journey began in the design studio at Colefax and Fowler, where she honed her creative skills. Subsequently, she delved into the realm of photography under the tutelage of Georje Lewisnski before embarking on formal art education at The Heatherley School of Fine Art. Throughout her career, Annabel has showcased her talent through numerous solo shows.

Lynda Minter

Lynda Minter is a London-based figurative artist who loves capturing impressions of how the landscape and cityscapes appear in a fleeting moment, bringing to life the complexity of how light and colour transforms shapes and mood which she finds exciting. Lynda's colourful palette combining thick brushstrokes with rich colour to capture the vivacity of Britain's varied landscape: recording over her long career the ever-changing skyline of London parks and the river Thames.

Stephen Rew

Stephen Rew is a British artist recently returned to his hometown on the Gower Peninsula, Wales. His early illustrative career began in 2008 when he completed an arts degree at Swansea University. In between his studies he spent time studying animals in the wild in India, the Middle East and Africa's Kwa-Zulu Natal and it was there, in Africa, that long-term objectives to combine work with his love and respect for wildlife manifested.
